"We love the Al Fong block system at our gym. Most often, we use the Al Fong Block Spotting System to create a channel bar, but the system offers so much more. No gym ever seems to have enough spotting blocks so they can always be used in that capacity. We teach our lower level team yurchenkos entry vaults in a progressive way by having them do roundoff back handsprings off a board onto a stack of blocks and increase the height of the blocks over time, until the girls are comfortable doing the vault onto the real table. The blocks have also been handy on beam because we have a shortage of beams in our gym. I sometimes use the biggest block to extend the length of the high beams when the girls are doing new acro series that bring up a bunch of fear. Over time the girls inch forward more and more on the beam until they are doing the skills on the beam without using the block at the end at all. And lastly, the blocks are great for conditioning. We use them for box jumps, upright mountain climbers, plyometric obstacle courses and more. We are very happy with this purchase and would recommend it for every gym." - Erin Ballantine, Coach at The Cave
